Little Goat collects personal information when you fill in the contact form on this site. This page says what is collected, why, where it goes, and how to get it removed. It is written to meet the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What is collected

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else is required and nothing else is stored.

Where it goes

Form submissions are passed to Amazon Simple Email Service and emailed to hello@littlegoat.co.nz. They are not written to a database and this site has no login. The email sits in an inbox like any other email.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to count visits and see which pages are useful, both loaded through Google Tag Manager. PostHog stores nothing on your device at all — no cookies, no local storage. Google Analytics sets cookies, except for visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK, where it also runs without them. That is why there is no cookie banner: nothing is stored on your device in the places where storing it would need your permission first. Neither tool is used to identify you personally, and no analytics data is combined with anything you send through the contact form.

How long it is kept

Enquiry emails are kept while there is a reason to keep them — an ongoing conversation, a live project, or a legal obligation — and deleted when there is not.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@littlegoat.co.nz and you will get an answer within 20 working days, which is the statutory maximum rather than the target.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how a privacy question was handled, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
