Terms

These terms cover website and SEO work bought from Little Goat. They exist because the pricing page makes promises — no fixed term, 30 days' notice, and you can take everything with you — and those promises need something behind them.

Paying for a build

Half the build price is due at signing and the balance on launch. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST.

The monthly plan

The monthly plan starts at launch, not at signing, and is billed monthly by card. There is no fixed term. Give 30 days' notice, in writing, any month, and it stops.

The discounted build price

The lower of the two build prices is available because the monthly plan is expected to run alongside it. If the plan is cancelled within twelve months of launch, the unamortised part of that discount becomes payable — the difference between the two build prices, reduced by one twelfth for each month already paid. This is disclosed before signing and appears on the invoice. There is no other exit fee.

What you own, and taking it with you

Once the build is paid for, the site is yours. If you leave you can take the built site, your domain, and an export of your content, at no charge. Nothing is held hostage and there is no proprietary platform to be locked into.

What you provide

You confirm you have the right to use any logo, photo or text you supply. Copy written for you includes one round of changes; further rounds are quoted first.

What is not promised

No specific Google position, traffic figure or number of enquiries is guaranteed, by anyone who is being honest with you. What is guaranteed is the work described in your plan, done on schedule, and reported with real numbers and the dates they were measured.

Support hours

Little Goat runs outside a day job, so replies come evenings and weekends, New Zealand time. Included change time is stated per plan, rolls over, and is capped as described there.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply.
