Halitosis clinic
The problem
Buen Aliento is the other half of Dr Liza Klein's practice online. Where her own site is for booking, this one is for the people who do not yet know what is wrong.
The questions were arriving somewhere that could not answer them
People do not search for a halitosis specialist first. They search for why their mouth tastes bitter, or what a coated tongue means, or whether bad breath comes from the stomach. Those are long, worried, specific questions, and a practice website built around appointments has nowhere to put the answers.
Two sites with no agreement about who answers what
The practice runs two properties, and nothing decided which of them was supposed to turn up for which search. Left alone, two sites owned by the same practice end up written as though the other does not exist, and Google is left to choose between them.
It had to explain itself without a receptionist
Someone arriving from a search at midnight is not going to ring anyone. The page either answers them or loses them.
What I did
Gave the two sites separate jobs
This site answers the questions. Dr Klein's own site takes the appointment. No page here is written for the same search as a page there, which is a rule the build enforces rather than something anyone has to remember — and it means the two sites stop competing with each other for the same reader.
Wrote it to be understood on its own
Each page takes one real question and answers it in plain Spanish, in the first sentence, before any preamble. Someone can arrive knowing nothing, get a straight answer, and only then find out that the person behind the site treats this for a living.
Kept it recognisably part of the same practice
It shares the look and the bones of Dr Klein's site without being a copy of it, so a reader who moves from one to the other can tell they are still in the same hands.
Built to be found, quoted and loaded quickly
Structured data and clear question-and-answer headings on every page, so search engines and AI assistants can both lift a straight answer out of it — which is exactly how this kind of question gets asked now. The site is generated ahead of time, images are sized, and the layout is reserved before anything loads.

YMYL. Search-visibility outcomes only — no health claims. Rankings on this site are genuinely mixed: some terms have appeared for the first time and others have slipped, and both are shown below rather than only the ones that flatter.
